*R - Student Ambassador Program

The WTC Student Ambassador Program aims to promote transplantation as an exciting and rewarding field of specialization for 3rd and 4th-year medical students. By engaging future medical professionals, this program will foster awareness and enthusiasm for organ donation and transplantation while enhancing participation at the WTC 2025 Congress.

Program Selection:

The program will select six international medical students. Selection will be based on geographical representation from the following regions:

Latin America
Europe (including Russia)
Africa
Oceania
Asia (Western, Central, South, and Southeast)

Award Coverage:

Selected students will receive the following benefits:

Complimentary Full Congress registration *includes access to all congress sessions, exhibit hall and posters as well as networking functions excluding all private or ticketed events
$2,000 USD in travel assistance
Four nights of accommodation at an official WTC Congress Hotel (August 2-6)

Participation Requirements:

Selected ambassadors will follow a curated agenda with guidance from WTC.

The agenda includes:

Attendance at the Opening and Keynote 1 session
Participation in the WHCOP & WIT Reception
Early Career Networking Breakfast
Attendance at a minimum 1 scientific session in the morning and 1 scientific session in the afternoon each full day of the congress.
Attendance at one Pre-Congress Workshop
Social media engagement as an ambassador by posting experiences online

Important Notes:

Please be advised that applying for the Student Ambassador Program does not include automatic Registration to the Congress. You will only be officially registered if chosen as an ambassador. Once chosen, you will be sent confirmation along with an Invitation Letter from WTC2025 to which you can use to start your Visa Application if needed.
Reminder that the understanding of all entry requirements and obtaining a visa is the student’s responsibility.
