We are increasingly observing the grave consequences of highly visible dishonest and fraudulent behavior or “bad” character by too many of our business and political leaders. Without question, not only individual, but also group and organizational well-being is consistently tested by these types of scandals. While growing rapidly in interest, the topic of character continues to remain muddled.
We will address these types of questions at WAM 2019 -- located in beautiful Northern California. The conference will be held at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel conveniently situated in Rohnert Park at One Doubletree Drive. Rohnert Park is centrally and conveniently located in California’s Wine Country consisting of Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino and Lake Counties. Along with being known worldwide as a premium wine growing area, the Wine Country is close to the Pacific Ocean, San Francisco and scenic, rural Northern California.
We are very pleased to announce that our 2019 JMI Scholar will be Barry M. Staw (University of California, Berkeley).
More information about the conference will be posted at wamonline.org this summer. For any further questions you can contact the Program Chair, Thomas A. Wright at twright17@fordham.edu. We look forward to welcoming all of you to Rohnert Park, California for WAM 2019!
