2025 STI & HIV World Congress Scholarship

The Pacific Public Health Foundation (British Columbia, Canada) is offering scholarships to Early Career Researchers (currently in training for a graduate degree or medical degree or MPh or equivalent, or performing postdoctoral or clinical fellowship training, or Early Career researchers who are less than 10 years from their terminal degree) from equity-deserving groups from British Columbia, Canada. This scholarship fund was established from the 2019 STI and HIV World Congress held in Vancouver, Canada.

Additional Information:

  1. Each scholarship is  $1,500 CAD and can be used for registration, travel or accommodation for the 2025 STI & HIV World Congress.
  2. Applicants must be from equity-deserving groups, be a resident of BC at the time of application and when attending the Congress, and have submitted an abstract for an oral or poster presentation for the Congress.  At the time of issuance of the scholarship, the applicant must have had their abstract accepted by the Congress and be registered for the Congress, or advise the Congress by email to stihiv2025-program@icsevents.com that they want to use a portion of their scholarship funds for Congress registration.
  3. BC Equity-Deserving Groups include individuals who self-identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour) and groups experiencing underrepresentation.
