JLICS will share any dietary requirements provided with the conference venue, SQUARE Brussels Convention Centre and the conference dinner venue, Autoworld (if you have booked a place at the conference dinner). If you do not provide information about any special dietary requirements, we regret that we will not be able to accommodate those requirements.

An indication of your session choice is mandatory to allow us to allocate correct meeting space. However, this does not commit you to attend your selected session at the event nor does it guarantee you a place at the Law Lab or Roundtable sessions where attendance is limited.

All hotel rates are quoted per room, per night in Euros and are inclusive of breakfast, VAT and wi-fi, exclusive of city tax (currently €4.24 per room per night). 

Check-in: Standard check-in time is 15:00. If you are arriving earlier and would like to guarantee an early check-in, please select the previous night as the check-in date and indicate in the Special Requests field your approximate arrival time the following morning.

Check-out: Standard check-out time is 12:00 (noon). The Hotel may either charge a half day rate or full day rate for requests after 12:00.

All hotel reservations must be submitted via this registration form in order to secure the special ACC Europe 2023 hotel rates.  A credit card is mandatory for every reservation and must have an expiration date on or after July 2023 (note: JLICS will not share your credit card number with ACC Europe or ACC). 
 
CANCELLATIONS & REDUCTION IN ROOM NIGHTS FOR INDIVIDUAL BOOKINGS
Cancellations/amendments must be received in writing to acceurope@judylaneics.com by 17:00 CEST time on 28 March 2023.  After this, the full stay will be charged to your credit card by the hotel.  The full payment penalty also applies to no-shows (non-arrival on the day of your reservation).  If you do not receive email confirmation that your cancellation has been received, please telephone +44 (0) 1327 858216.

JLICS is collecting this data to:
 

• Process your conference registration and take payment.

• Make a booking at The Hotel Brussels (if applicable).

• Send you information about the 2023 ACC Europe Annual Conference.

• Provide you with customer service and create name badges.

If you have asked us to make your hotel reservation at The Hotel Brussels, JLICS will share the credit card details you have provided with The Hotel, together with your title, full name and country of residence.  

You have the right to access, amend and/or delete the personal data held about you or, where applicable, withdraw your consent for the collection and processing of your personal data at any time by emailing acceurope@judylaneics.com. • JLICS being unable to reserve a room for you at The Hotel Brussels or your reservation being cancelled (if applicable) 

• JLICS being unable to process your conference registration or your conference registration being cancelled, and your inability to attend the conference. In case of a cancellation, you will be financially liable for the administration charges, and registration fees might not be refunded - as set out in the Registration Cancellation Terms and Conditions on this registration form

ACC and ACC Europe collect and process personal data about their members and conference delegates and use this information in connection with organising and promoting ACC Europe and ACC events, publishing newsletters and providing other resources of interest to the in-house legal profession. ACC Europe will share your personal data with its affiliate ACC in the United States of America for the purpose of providing you with information and services of interest to the in-house legal profession.

ACC and ACC Europe also release:
 
1 - Name (first and last), job title, organisation and country of all delegates to the sponsors of the ACC Europe 2023 Annual Conference as part of their sponsorship agreement.
2 - Name (first and last), job title, organisation and country of those delegates participating in a sponsored session to the sponsor of that specific session as part of their sponsorship agreement.
3 - Name (first and last), job title, organisation and country of those delegates participating in a social event to the sponsor of that social event as part of their sponsorship agreement.

Please note that some of the ACC Europe Annual Conference sponsors might be based outside the EU, including countries (such as the United States of America) with which the European Commission has not made a GDPR Article 45 adequacy decision. COVID-19

Prior to travel, please regularly check the Government of Belgium website for current entry regulations.

To attend the ACC Europe 2023 conference, we ask that you have been fully vaccinated against the COVID 19 virus with a WHO recognised vaccine or that you have a negative test result, not more than 72 hours prior to the start of the conference, and will comply with all local/national guidelines.  

By registering to attend, you agree that you will not attend if you have any COVID 19 Symptoms
If, during your attendance, you develop any COVID 19 symptoms, you should immediately:

• Self-isolate.

• Comply with all local/national government restrictions.

• Inform the ACC Europe Conference Team by email acceurope@judylaneics.com  

Your attendance is at your own risk and you agree that the ACC Europe and its contractors cannot be held responsible if you contract Covid 19 either before, during or after returning from the Conference.

These terms and conditions are subject to change prior to the conference.


Registration cancellation policy

Delegates cancelling their registration should do so in writing to acceurope@judylaneics.com

Cancellations received by 5 March 2023 17:00 CEST time will receive a refund of the registration fees paid less a €95 administration charge (plus 21% VAT).  No refunds will be made after this date. Eligible registration substitutions from the same organisation, will be allowed without penalty, if notification is received, in writing to acceurope@judylaneics.com, prior to the start of the event.

In the unlikely event that the Conference is cancelled, travel and accommodation costs will not be refunded. 


Photographs and Videos

ACC and ACC Europe will be taking photographs and videos of the conference for the legitimate purpose of disseminating information about their activities, and your image may be processed accordingly. In some instances, you may be clearly identifiable in the picture or video. All attendees of the conference grant ACC and ACC Europe the right to use any image, photograph, recording or likeness, recorded during this conference without limitation and without compensation, in its promotional materials and on its website. All such recordings are the property of ACC and ACC Europe and may be used by ACC and ACC Europe for any legitimate purpose connected with ACC’s activities. ACC and ACC Europe will generally retain your image and/or voice for no more than 10 years. If you have any objection to your image being taken and used by ACC and ACC Europe as described above, please do not register to attend the conference.

Conference App

All delegates will be included in the attendee list on the Conference App to enhance networking opportunities. This list displays first name, last name, job title, organisation and country.


Badge Scanning 

By allowing another attendee to scan your badge, you will be consenting to exchanging your virtual business card with that attendee.  In addition to your full name, job title, organisation and country, your virtual business card also includes your email address. 

There is no obligation to allow your badge to be scanned.
